Brooklyn Primary School Pupil Excels At Tennis
BROOKLYN PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPIL EXCELS AT TENNIS
Jordan Sauer, a Grade 6 pupil from Brooklyn Primary School, won the 2011 Gauteng North Primary Schools Championships. The tournament, held at Groenkloof tennis courts, was played during the last week of October when Pretoria experienced record high temperatures. This is an annual event which has been organized by the Pretoria Schools Committee the past 50 years.
Jordan is coached by Gerald Stoffberg of Pretoria Boys High and he is a member of the Gauteng North Under 14 Tennis Squad. He is an all-rounder representing Brooklyn Primary in tennis, cricket, soccer and athletics. Tennis, however, is his passion which is also very prominent in his family both locally and overseas. Through hard work and dedication he hopes to one day achieve his dream of playing at the highest level of the game.Wimbledon here he comes.
